Comics Nerd, Book Worm, Cynical Idealist, Mad Historian in Training (WWI and its place in the pop cultures of the major combatants, specifically), Feminist, Whovian, typo-prone, Grrl Dandy, incurable pottymouth, internet-ruining asexual heathen, so-called "Dirty Commy Basturd," and Neurasthenic Farceur. My aim is to study 1900-1950 in Europe and make comics about it, and my general policy is to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. I also greatly enjoy tea.

When Sally acted on the “evidence” planted by Moriarty she is called a “bitch” when Lestrade acts on the same evidence it’s because he was “deceived”. They were both deceived. If Sally hadn’t acted as she did I would have questioned her ethics and morals. As it is, I respect her. People are self-inserting far too much hate on a character that does not deserve it.

I don’t hate Sally (I actually like her a lot) but I despise Anderson.
Also, Ani, you’ve been saying this from day 1, and you are 100% right. - LV

This, this, this.

Well, of course she’s a bitch for doing what white men did - she’s a woman of colour!
Duh!
Sally did what was right, and anyone who thinks that she was a bitch and Lestrade was decieved is either racist or sexist, take your pick.

Sally is best character everyone else go home

Sure, Sally (and especially Anderson) seemed to take some pleasure in “discovering” Sherlock is a fraud and a criminal, but given what he puts them through, who wouldn’t? Perhaps she’s more willing to be deceived, but that just makes her more of a victim. Sherlock really reaped what he’d sown in her case.

Do you SEE that last gif? Sherlock smiles at John SO adorably, and John isn’t even looking. Remember TGG, when Sherlock’s trying to get Molly to let him see a body in the morgue? He’s all smiley and flirty, and the split second she looks away, his face shifts back into impassive impatience. Here, it’s the opposite. He’s straight-faced and “normal” when John’s looking at him, and the second he looks down at the coffee, Sherlock’s true emotions come out in a goofy smile and a little up-and-down eye flick. OH MY HEART.
